I've been experimenting with using the inclined treadmill at the gym,
hoping to improve my
lessened ability to hike up hills and steep trails. While that hasn't
worked out as hoped, the
treadmill seems to have provided unexpected benefits in terms of
strengthening my core
muscle groups, even though that wasn't my goal. Odd though, that in spite
of biking to work
and regular use of the treadmill, my aerobic capacity is still horrible,
and hiking is laborious.
