Hello Peter: We got a new e-mail program at work, and that program switched from my old e-mail address to my new e-mail address, so some of my outbound e-mails may not have gone anywhere. I actually have no idea if my e-mails ever reached places like paddlewise and our local paddling club. But I think things have mostly been ironed out. It's been winter here in North America, and now spring, if you can call rain and snow spring. So my kayak is sitting idle in the garage, waiting for a very significant increase in temperature. I have been riding my bike to work and around the neighbor. I got hit once by an SUV, and once by a UPS truck. But both times I was wearing a ski jacket, ski gloves, and a helmet. Guess I'll need to wear the same clothes during the summer too. The SUV got my arm in the dark, despite my having three flashing lights on the bike. The UPS truck sent me sprawled into a blackberry patch. The driver had to pull me out. Glad to have health insurance. Is Paddlewise still functional? Yes, as far as I know. But traffic has been slow.
