We have had the wettest March on record in our area. I feel like I live in Seattle! Flood warnings all over the place. It's not like I haven't been thinking about paddling... but most of that thought has been tempered by a big preference for weather that is, at least, warm. And preferably more-or-less dry. We have had one day over 60F and I was shepherding kids around on bicycles that day. :P Soon, though. Sue and I have upgraded from a 21-foot 1972 Streamline trailer to a 1993 Foretravel diesel pusher motor home and expect to spend a lot more time camping, kayaking, bicycling and fishing on local lakes. Fuel prices mitigate against making many trips to Puget Sound and/or Deception Pass, however. But I'm hoping for one or two.
