Thanks All, To clarify, Ibll be paddling in the Vancouver Island area with fellow-Paddlewiser, Gary Jacek, at the start of my trip. The Victoria paddlers are so organised I was contacted months ago and told EXACTLY when I would be doing a presentation for them, complete with map to venue! Ibm hoping to get out in the San Francisco area at the end, and Ibve had some great suggestions. Thanks for the help, and Ibm still keen to hear more.
