On Friday morning an elephant sat on my chest, at least it felt like so. Heart Attack! Within half an hour I was in the hospital, and the epert team saved my beans. If I had lived alone I be dead by now, but I don't, and after trying my migraine medicine (I had had a similar event a week ealier that my doc thought might have been an attack of abdomial migraine), my wife called for an ambulance, an the first EKG in our bed proved that expert care was needed, so the ambulance was redirected from the local hospital to the main hospital. And indeed, did they do their best, and saved my bread ;-)! 'Ten pills a day keeps the doctors away!', is the new slogan for me, actually 12, but the two in the afternoons I tend to disregard! Got home Yesterday, and am a bit dizzy, having a slight fever. But I am ALIVE! According the the doctors, that did all kinds of tests, scanning X-rays, scanning ultrasonics (thanks, General Electric) and many I don't have an inkling of what they were, my heart was pronounced without damage, the clot evidently had dissolved/dislodged, when I got the very first treatment in our bed at home. Shaken, but not stirred!
