Wondering this myself. A few weeks ago I happened to drive past a sign inn Issaquah WA saying "kayak festival today". It was already at the end of the day and I was busy with errands. So, I missed the only paddle festival this year, ten minutes from my house, because I had no notice. Where was this promoted? Where else should I hang out to hear about paddling stuff?
