Hi Saul,

Haven't been to the Duke Point ferry dock myself, but the recently
published guide from the BC Marine Trails Association suggests the put-in
here is brutal and ugly. Haven't got the book in front of me, but I
remember they suggest driving (!) down the coast. It's for this reason,
I've decided to go to the Departure Bay terminal for this upcoming long
weekend (in Canada anyway). I can do a walk-on at Horseshoe Bay, and
wheelie my boat about 500 metres to the floats at the local boat
club/marine pub. Hope this is of some help.

Cheers

Philip Torrens
