Folbot sells a distorted-diamond-shaped "Twins" sail rig, which is
idiot-proof, for $400, I think (http://www.folbot.com/).  Strictly
downwind, but durable and all made up.  I have used it in my Greenland
II folding double and like it for its simplicity and convenience.  You
could make a similar sail rig with maybe 50 feet of 1/4 inch line, a
reshaped plastic tarp duct-taped to a collapsible booming stick (mast),
and something glassed to the inside of your hull for the bottom of the
mast.  Might run you US$80 or less.

Most yaks are pretty much restricted to downwind or maybe a broad reach,
unless you cobble up a leeboard or add a keel.
