There has been some discussion about creating an archive, but to date, no one has volunteered to do it. Thus, at present the only "archive" that is available is that which still remains on our individual email list. A shame too, for there is much valuable and interesting material that has been available through subscription to this mailing list. ---------- For what it's worth, I've created an area on my web site, (http://csisler.com/Paddlewise.htm), intended to store interesting Paddlewise threads. There are two recent threads out there now and I'll be adding Jack Martin's Lake Erie Death thread tonight. This is not something I'm willing to maintain all by myself. I will collect and post things I find to be of interest. If you think a thread has value, you should collect it and mail it to me for posting. Don't count on me doing so. I may not even know the thread is interesting. :-) I've taken the time so far to get permission from the authors of the posts before publishing the threads. I suspect at least one of the authors finds this process mildly irksome. I don't want any copyright issues but also don't want to be annoying. What do you think? I'm half of a mind to post whatever and remove all or part of it if someone complains. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************Received on Mon Mar 22 1999 - 13:31:02 PST
