EcoMarine Kayak in Vancouver is offering the above course in June. This is a two day course for those who want more experience in navigating and paddling in coastal currents. Has anyone on this list taken this course before? I would like to get some feedback on this course before I register.

If the west coast is like the east coast, you better grab the course while
you can.

Last year I waited all winter for a new class schedule from my favorite
outfitter to find a shorter tidal class had been eliminated from the
schedule because of lack of interest.

Fortunately the west coast is not like the east coast. The courses put on by Ecomarine fill up fast and have very good instructors. AND I don't even work there but would recommend them highly.
