Anyway, the support refers to psychological support while undertaking
the soul wrenching task of drilling a hole in a perfectly good,
unperferated, shiny, expensive, member of the family.  Plugging the
drill into a grounded socket; testing the trigger with whine of the
electric motor, the smell of ozone, the blue sparks.  Putting the bit up
against the perfect hull and, in an agonizing screech of torn
fiberglass, ripping a hole in the hull.  Even with the assurances that
there are no nerve endings in that part of the hull, the owner and
customizer-wannabe, just can't bring him/herself to do it without the
emotional assistance of a support group.
