Thanks to whomever on this list tipped me off to the above mentioned product.
They are fabulous. In terms of outdoor gear, now we're talking about my sort
of priority! :) Sandy

There is a good companion product that I have to recommend. I now empty my wine
bottle(s) into a 750 ml or 1L. Platypus water pouch. They don't leak, don't
give any noticeable taste and you don't have to transport full or empty wine
bottles. Any you don't need a corkscrew!--

This is a very interesting point, I tried the wine bladder thing, and there
was something missing for my wife and I.

It seems the ritual of opening the bottle and pouring turned out to be
almost as important as drinking the wine itself, it may seem silly but it
just turned out that way. So now we pack and protect a needless amount of
glass in order to provide us with some measure of "closure" on a good day,
but there's just something about popping a cork on a big rock by the side
of a river.

Hal, You were reading my mind. Now that I have the glasses, what do I do
about the wine transport? You quite effectively addressed another of my
priorities. Thanks to you and Jim, the originator of the wine glass info.
