[Paddlewise] Newbie question: How to secure gear in kayak w/o bulkheads?

Hello everybody,

I am a newbie with an Old Town Loon 138.  It does not have bulkheads.  I
have ordered some kayak storage flotation bags

NRS.  I don't anticipate any difficulty with the float bags or their
installation.

My question is, how do you secure other gear inside your kayak, like in
the cockpit area?  I would like to secure my paddle float, throw bag,
and a couple small dry bags for my camera and other items I'd like
within easy reach. In the event of a capsize I don't want to see all my
stuff floating away!
