With all due respect, and I do support the recovery efforts, I couldn't
believe my eyes and ears when they performed the burial at sea!

I read that his family was carrying out his own wishes from the will he
left behind. I don't think he anticipated such an untimely and tragic death.

However, I suspect there are many sea kayakers that would request that
their ashes be deposited into the ocean though their death might come as a
result of sea kayaking.

Just a guess :-)

.......not me. I want a headstone that reads...... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU
LOOKIN' AT?
.....and if I can't get that.....(highly improbable) I want my ashes kept in
an urn on the mantle, so that inquisitive dinner guests momentarily unattended,
poking about the study, will mayhaps open the lid of my domicile and commence a
sneezing fit from my airborne mortal remains.......maybe I like that one better!

My mother wanted a headstone that read "I told you I was sick". Unfortunately, my
father and brothers vetoed that, so now my mission is to outlive them all so that I
can have it put on without anyone stopping me.
