On the other hand, you'd be amazed at how many of those truckers' bungees I see lying on or beside the road around here in NJ (lotsa trucks). They do not last. Mostly, they're broken where the rubber wraps around the hook..... I think the truckers probably overkill the use of them so if one comes off it won't matter much.
