My wife and I have recently moved to the East Coast (NC) of the U.S. from Hawaii and are interested to see if one of our favorite sports has any teams or competitions anywhere nearby. We had joined a club (Kai Po'ha) while living on Oahu and were wanting to get back into the sport. We have been enjoying the rivers and intercoastal waterway in canoes and kayaks, but miss the power and feel of the big boats and rhythm of six paddlers working together as one.
