I'm running into similar kayak storage problems. I want to mount my kayak on the wall or from the ceiling of my studio apartment so that it's not sitting in the middle of the floor in front of my fireplace. I have a high ceiling but old plastered walls so I don't think a pulley-system will work for me. Unless it's easy to find studs in old ceilings? Perhaps some sort of pedestal-type solution will work. Any suggestions? ps: Sandy- The link for Hardy's brackets didn't work for me - is that the correct address? So guests will now have a view of 6 boats from the dining room. And then there's still one on the rear deck. :) > > My nephew (3 kids) moved to a lakefront house. I'm thinking (if I can work up the courage to part with them) of offering him two of the smaller ones on an indefinite loan basis. > > Sandy Kramer > Miami ________________________________________________________________ Get FREE voicemail, fax and email at http://voicemail.excite.com Talk online at http://voicechat.excite.com *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed Nov 10 1999 - 11:12:09 PST
