Like must debates about rolling this is mostly a semantics misunderstanding. 
C to C or screw ? J to J? Sea kayak or Surf kayak? Eskimo or Ero. paddle.

A head dink sounds appropate for "dink boats" which is what I call Surf 
kayaks.
