Someone recently asked for information about the Suwannee River in south GA. I just happened upon this site: http://www.canoe-suwannee.com/ which seems pretty informative. The water levels section says that the river is pretty boney right now, which isn't surprising, as Georgia has been in a drought for several months. Bouce fabric softener sheets are dynamite against the no-see-ums, if you head down there. Gives a very Legion Etranger look. You can also wipe youself down with one. Only the exposed skin; gnat teeth aren't long enough to go through most fabric. > (And how to deal with the smell?) That reminds me of the following joke: "I'm getting a goat for a pet." "But you live in an apartment. What about the smell?" "He'll just have to get used to it."
