[Paddlewise] Lake Huron North Channel

I just bought Bill Newman's paddling guide to lakes Huron, Erie and Ontario
today, and devoured it as soon as I got home, despite all the millennium
babble on the TV. Good job, Bill! My only complaint is that I wished you
had included a couple of Lake Erie south shore trips. ;)

Anyway, I'm taking a hard look at Georgian Bay and the North Channel for
next summers big trip. I've taken a look at a couple of pretty good
websites about sailing up there (check out http://www.continuouswave.com )
but haven't been able to find out much about kayaking up there. The big
question I have in my mind is how do you find out where camping is
permitted, and where it isn't. Anyone got any ideas?
