Finding a place to camp shouldn't be a problem. I've been going up to the
Whitefish Falls/Killarney Park area for the past few years and most of the
land bordering the North Channel is owned by the "Crown" and is open to
camping. There are scattered private parcels of course, but even then most
landowners won't object to the occasional campsite if you're quiet and
unobtrusive. But be aware that most of the coastline, be it islands or
adjacent mainland, are very rocky and may require considerable
reconnoitering before a suitable campsite can be found. And be prepared to
share the water with many large cabin cruisers, especially in the Baie Fine
area, which has attracted the high-priced powerboat crowd since the 1930's.
