There are iron on decal like sheets available at office supply stores for tee shirts at a fairly inexpensive price. They may be printed from an ink jet printer. I have had very good success with these on 50/50 mixed shirts (better than 100% cotton shirts) with a dry iron on a hot setting, using pillow cases on formica (does not work well with an ironing board). The image could be available for upload from a site or through direct email or people could send an SASE envelope with some change to somebody (about 1.00 a sheet). Then one could put it on anything they want- white that is. I think it would be really interesting to have a few different imagery on a theme to choose from, I am sure there would be lots of ideas. By the way, most of the experience I have had with the iron on decal like sheets have been with continuos tone images- though lettering was fairly good, not as good as screen printing. -- : : Gabriel L Romeu : http://studiofurniture.com furniture from the workshop : http://members.xoom.com/gabrielR life as a tourist, daily journal : http://users.aol.com/romeugp paintings, photographs, etchings, objects *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed Feb 09 2000 - 15:50:30 PST
