I believe someone recently iquired about paddling in this area, but I was not paying attention at the time. I will be attending a technical conference in Monterery May 22-25 and likely arriving the weekend before probably via SF, to save on airfare and with luck kayak a bit that weekend. I have two colleagues who may come with me who are experts at "Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalictrant Compounds", but rookies at kayaking. Since we will occaissionally be discussing business this should all be tax deductable under entertainment? or perhaps transportation costs? I have advanced boating skills but if I kill my friends before they get to present at the conference their companies will never forgive me. Any suggestions for outfitters to rent boats for us and beginner to intermediate level paddles in the area that won't bore me, but will still keep my freinds out of trouble? Also how is May for whale watching? I assume we have a shot at seeing Gray Whales that time of year? *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Mon Feb 28 2000 - 17:26:20 PST
