For those of you who may have followed part of this trip departing England
in late May 99, this covers their progress from Naples Italy to Greece.
Worth looking at!

They are useing the same kayak as Chris: NDK, Romany 18's (without
skegs). That seems to be the kayak of chose for long trips.

Not so if you consider all Paul Caffyn's trips (round the three islands of
New Zealand, Japan, round Australia, seaboard of Alaska) were in Nordkapps,
light and ultralight weight. Other paddlers' South Island sucessful
circumnavigations were in Nordkapps and one in a Southern Aurora (NZ
design). Unsucessful trips were in Arctic Raiders. As far as I know his and
Conrad's Greenland trips were also in Nordkapps.
