Boy oh boy, keep tethering that radio!. I bought an HX350S about a year ago. Didn't use it much but it was sure nice to have as a little extra security. Very nice radio. Unfortunately, it's somewhere on the bottom in the Everglades - it slipped out from under the bungies as I reached for a bird book. No way to retrieve it. Had it been tethered the mishap would have been no big deal, and I wouldn't have had to feel so nervous sharing space with a bunch of crazy power boaters coming in from the Gulf.... (much less been out mucho bucks for a basically brand new piece of equipment). *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Tue Jul 25 2000 - 20:39:08 PDT
