Hey Folks,
Just thought you might like to know that the sun has had two coronal mass 
ejections in the past two days, and there is very good chance of seeing 
some aurora this weekend when it hits. Especially because the Earth's 
magnetic field is kind of weak right now. Also, the Perseid meteor shower 
is expected to peak at before dawn on August 12, at 30-50 meteors per hour. 
Too bad for me that I am stuck in overcast seattle this weekend. You can 
get more detailed updates on this from www.spaceweather.com
