I've seen some excellent recessed deck fittings on a beautiful S&G boat
recently. The builder told me he got the fittings from Kajak Sport. Does
anyone on the list have an address or phone number for a Kkajak Sport dealer?
The Kajak Sprot website doesn't seem to have any links to catalog or sales
information.

Thanks -

Hi Bill.
I bought my Kajak Sport Viviane from The Country Canoeist  their address is;
The Country Canoeist
1005 School St.
Dunbarton, NH 03046
Telephone number (603) 774-7888
Email canoe_at_grolen.com

I particularly like the 1005 School St. part, School St. in Dunbarton is 75 YARDS
long!
I do not work for the shop, I am just a very satisfied customer.

In an interesting turn of events my paddling partner Kathie, immortalized in my
trip reports, will soon be working as a guide for them. The owner of the shop
was so impressed with my description of her in my Squam Lake report that he has
asked her to guide for them on Squam.

visible, your reverie is abruptly shattered by the ancient cry of a great
blue heron as she lifts uncertainly from the brilliant blue of a
mussel-shell beach witnessed only by the brooding, wet spruce....your
passage home seems as much back through time as it does through space.

QCC Kayaks use a very nice recessed fitting for deck-lines. I'm pretty sure
that it is detailed on their web-site www.qualitycomposites.com/. I looks
like an easy install on a SG boat, drill a round hole, drop the fitting in,
and secure it with a locknut on the underside.

Try the Global Outfitters Kajaksport page www.gokajaksport.com
They have an accessories page that has several types of fittings.
