story in last night's paper here in Sitka;

someone was driving down the road (35mph zone) in a truck with a canoe on top.
It came untied and went airborne. It hit the windshield of an oncoming
furniture delivery truck. the driver swerved and went into the ditch. He was
taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Lesson: ties 'em down real good, folks.
