Check out this new back band that has a adjustable lumbar support. Go to www.nsipadz.com, select Paddlesports, then select Adjustable Anatomic Back Bands. Nothing like it on the market as far as I know. They sent me one to try out but I have not had time to install it in a boat and test it. I think they have one model for sea kayaks and another version for white water kayaks. If you end up taking the seat out and making a foam seat then check out this site: www.kayakfit.com.
