[Paddlewise] Training Article

Hello all,

there was an interesting article in the New York Times today by Joe 
Glickman on training. He was training specifically for marathon kayak 
racing. He worked with training guru Steve Ilg via the internet.

I'm interested in long distance racing, is there an organizing body 
for the sport?
