[Paddlewise] Replacement hatch cover

I empathise with Jim's predicament. I know that Current Designs made strong
protestations to VCP a couple of years ago about the deteriorating qualities
of the VCP 7.5" hatch cover. I'm informed that they have since changed the
`ingredients' in their rubber mix to ensure that their hatch covers are
longer lasting.
Ocean River Sports, www.oceanriver.com , which is owned by Brian Henry who
designed the Solstice series stocks the replacement hatches.
