I can't get back to the article I posted either. The link I posted was an
updated article that featured more detail, particularly about who Rick Hayes
was and his influence on river kayakers in the BC area and beyond. Key points:




1) The death was ruled a drowning.


2) Friends thought it suspicious that he would kayak alone.


3) He was diabetic.


4) The death was still under investigation.





My memory is a bit fuzzy; someone correct me if I'm wrong.
