[Paddlewise] use a Sea Sock?

Hello Rex and all,
Your sea sock Rex, did you make this yourself or is it an off the shelf
item? I am going to make one for myself for my skin boat (if I ever get it
finished) and would like to try one in my stitch and glue as well.
