I wonder how it works for short people using long > sea kayak paddles? (I'm 6'2 with long arms so I wouldn't know :) I'd like to see a demonstration of this. I've tried several different ways of swimming with a paddle and none seem to work particularly well. I've tried on my stomach with feathered and unfeathered and on my back with both feathered and unfeathered. I've tried holding the paddle in front of me and close to me as well as along my arms. The most relaxing seems to be on my back unfeathered, but nothing seems really powerful. Any hints?
