1. Easy-on: I want a skirt that's easy to put on in rough conditions, and one that I can put on while wearing gloves. 2. Cold water use: I paddle in Long Island Sound off of Connecticut year round. Summers are hot and warm; winters are cold. 3. Leak-proof: I'd like to minimize water leaking in during rolls and skulling. 4. Nylon vs. Neoprene: I don't think that I care much, provided the above criteria are met. I appreciate your input. I just replaced my snapdragon sprayskirt. It was an older model and I had difficulty getting it off. I went with a Wildwasser skirt it has a breathable 4 way stretch tube and you can take the suspenders off. I don't like suspenders so this is a nice feature. It has a nice size zippered mesh pocket on the neoprene skirt, perfect for putting in sunscreen or lip balm. I have never found the pockets on the sprayskirt tube to be useful. The craftsmanship excellent really nice details. Now to your questions: I found it to be much easier on than my old snap dragon model. It is a neoprene spray skirt so it is warmer The tube will leak a bit but they have a nice buckle system you can tighten up. The skirt is neoprene so it stays on in rougher conditions. I used too many cheapie, saggy nylon skirts! It is expensive. http://www.wildnet.com/decks.htm -- MZ *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
