Thanks for all the info and help with planning the manatee safari. We'll be sure to provide a trip report and hopefully get a few good pics to share. Some of the Floridians (or would that be Parrot-heads?) have asked where else we'll be headed. We're flying in from California to spend a couple of weeks paddling some of our old favorite spots (we used to live in north Florida). Hopefully some of our old paddling buddies will be able to join us and maybe we can meet a few new ones, too. We plan to be in the Crystal River area Nov 27-29, then do the Santa Fe River and the Silver River, then head NE to Ft Clinch (Fernandina), and then work our way down to St Augustine. We'd love to have some company if anyone would like to join us.
