So sorry - I think I was unclear.  By "conflicts", I meant "things kept coming up that prevented me from going to any of them - like work, illnesses in the family, kids All-Star tournaments, etc etc)".  From Johns reply, I see that "conflict" could have been taken as "too many opportunities, too many choices, etc."  

Isn't the English language great - keeps you guessing all the time!  :-)

Speaking of Language, my word for the week is:

"Sarchasm" - The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who doesn't get it.

Last week, it was:

"Ignoranus" - A person who's both stupid and an A**hole.

Next week it's going to be:

"Osteopornosis" -  A degenerate disease.  I'm going to have a hard time working that one into conversations and office memos, but I love a good challenge!!  :-)
