Hi again Mark.
After I sent you the ACK URL I decided to check and see if the local
clubs I know of are listed. They are not. I figured I would send the
list I have to the entire group, and you can add them to the web site.

First, from Massachusetts, The North Shore Paddler's Network. A group
dedicated to safety, teaching, and having fun.

From New Hampshire is The Monadnock Sea Kayaking Club. This group is
set up like PaddleWise but is local. They have no dues, no officers,
and no regular meetings. All correspondence is via email where stories
are exchanged, information is shared, group trips are planned, and
potluck dinners are scheduled. The site is primarily a sign on link for
the club.

In Vermont is the Champlain Kayak Club. Another safety oriented club
with many trips planned each year. As the name suggests they are based
on Lake Champlain. The Monadnock club and the Champlain club try to do
a joint trip at least once each year.

Maine has the Southern Maine Sea Kayaking Network. I haven't dealt much
with this club (yet) so I can't tell you anything about it.

I hope that this helps.

Paddling along through fog so thick that only one's thoughts are
visible, your reverie is abruptly shattered by the ancient cry of a great
blue heron as she lifts uncertainly from the brilliant blue of a
mussel-shell beach witnessed only by the brooding, wet spruce....your
passage home seems as much back through time as it does through space.
