I agree.  I carried my kayak a few time the hundred meters or so I used
to live from the beach and then bought a cart.  I could set everything
up on the front lawn, toss a couple of small bags (lunch, emerg gear) in
the hatches and tow it down the road.  Much easier than carrying.

Just think, with the money you save, you could buy a new boat!!
