[Paddlewise] Cold water dizziness

My wife the ENT doctor told me that a cold water ear rinsing (caloric)
causes dizziness because it stimulates the balance mechanism in the ear.
Every normal person will respond this way. She also threw in the tasty tidbit
that it is a way physicians test for brain activity in comatose patients. She
is a weird chick, but I love her. She is also the financial backing for this
hobby. She is also staring hard at me now.
