Ashton: I read your post in Paddlewise. One reply offered Weldwood contact cement. If you are installing blocks of minicell in your cockpit, where you can coat the two bonding surfaces, allow them to dry, and press them together, that will probably work fine. I cannot vouch for its properties as a sealant, however. If you are installing a bulkhead, or working in a confined area where you can't position the foam for bonding on contact, check out 3M 5200 Quick-cure Marine Sealant/Adhesive, or its less aggressive version, 3M 4200. Both are intended for prolonged submersion, and will bond fiberglas and minicell nicely. 5200 is the choice when the bond is to be structural (i.e., joining a deck to a hull, or installing bulkheads), and it plays for keeps. 4200 is the one to use if you envision changing or removing the work someday (cockpit padding, seat, etc.). Both remain watertight and flexible. I've heard good things about Sikaflex, but can't tell you which product to select for your application.
