1. To have riders to vote against your best friend's desire to listen to country western music...so you can diplomatically vote with your friend, but still be spared that awful sound! :) 2. Paddle different types of boats. 3. Share stories of humorous paddling mishappenings. 4. Practice rescue skills. 5. Discuss Oprah books of the month....Nah, i don't think so!! 6. Collect jokes to take to work...except most of them can't be told at work. 7. To have someone with an extra pfd, paddle or ? it is you forgot. 8. Meet potential dogsitters for when you have to be out of town. 9. Meet a newbie paddling veterinarian whose soggy behind you can haul out of the water in the hope that he or she will remember the good deed when your dog needs emergency veterinary care. :) 10.
