The reasons NOT to carpool (it's always MY car and ME behind the wheel) - I always have to do the car-shuffle, while the not-car-owners have their first coffee break. - It's always non-smokers who want to come with me, so I can't smoke in my own car. - No more complaining of my driving style. - No more dirty underwear left over in the trunk, after the trip. - No more playing taxi, picking everybody up at their home. - No more muddy wet kayakkers on my seats. "Oh, should I have brought some extra clothes?". - No more bad company. (It's always the sharers choosing their ride, never the drivers). - Choose my own music. - No arguments about wearing seatbelts (It's almost like PFD's!) By the way: Not ALL company is bad. It's just that I have this regular pooler I can't get rid off...
