I just checked the weather.com page to see what it was going to be like
today. Here's
what it said:

...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CONTINUES THE WIND CHILL ADVISORY THROUGH
THIS MORNING...

TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO FALL TO NEAR ZERO OR BELOW THIS
MORNING...WHILE NORTHWEST WINDS CONTINUE AT 10 TO 15 MPH. THIS WILL PRODUCE
WIND CHILL VALUES BETWEEN -15 AND -25 THROUGH THE MORNING. TEMPERATURES
WILL BEGIN TO RISE AND WINDS WILL BEGIN TO DIMINISH AFTER NOON.

EXPOSED SKIN CAN SUFFER FROM FROSTBITE IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES...SO DRESS
ADEQUATELY. BE SURE TO WEAR LAYERED CLOTHING...AND WEAR A HAT AND MITTENS
TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE DANGERS OF FROSTBITE.

I'd still rather live here than southern California.
