No experience with the Vagabond, but I recently paddled a
Pygmy Tern 14' and it was quite a treat. I max out at about
6 mph in my Pygmy Osprey HP (17'6") and about 5.3 in the
little Tern. Tracked pretty well and turns like a tracked
vehicle. Less beam (22") than the Vagabond, so probly
faster. Weighs 30-ish pounds. Now I'm craving one for
surfing. Some assembly required.

Also craving a Firstlight Folder. Anybody paddled one of
these? Around 10 kilos!

Pardon me if this topics been worked; I've been off-list for
a while.

I did paddle and reviewed the Firstlight 420 in my newsletter. I also had a
quick paddle in the 480. I would be happy to send an email with the review
of the 420. Just ask back channel.
