I'm 10 cm taller and paddle a 24" wide Solstice GTHV.  My Euro paddle is
220-226 cm variable length and I wish I had got a 215-221 cm.  It seems
to me that 230 is long for you and 240 would be definitely too long.

I'd suggest trying shorter paddles for a while before spending the money
on a new one.  See if you can borrow or rent.
