Once again, thanks all Steve Davis Rainy Victoria<

Maybe rainy, but it has been relatively warm. On that Baja thing, don't
forget to put in an inline gas filter somewhere easily accessible on your
vehicle, and take some spare filters/units. Some of the gas down yonder can
be real dirty - not just the dancing.

And don't forget out-of-country travel insurance! (Extended health plans are
not enough). I had one case last year (my job is paying the provincial
portion on medical claims abroad) where the campers were in Baja - where
medical care is usually cheap - but a stove accident spilt gas all over the
guys spouse on the beach, then ignited. She was so bad off, the authorities
air-evacuated her to a burn unit in California which was $10.000.00 US a day
just for the bed, $20.000.00 for the air ambulance, and we won't even get
into the doctors professional fees. Be wise and forewarned. Get insurance
that pays the providers upfront first - known as pay direct. Get your travel
insurance from the same company as your extended carrier, then they will not
make you deplete your life-time limit first.
