There are many good Florida Places to Paddle listed on my site,
http://www.kayakguide.com with specific driving and padlding directions
and photos. Both the Indian River Lagoon and St. Johns River mentioned
are both listed on the site.

One paddle immediately in the South Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach
area I'm planning to do soon is Spruce Creek. Here are the directions
to the put in:
-Exit I-95 at Port Organge/Daytona Beach Shores onto FL-421 East
-After about 2.4 miles, turn Right onto FL-5A/S Nova Road
-After about 2.5 miles, turn right onto South Ridgewood Avenue/US-1
S/FL-5 South
-Proceed South on US1 about 2 miles to the southernmost of the 3
Rosebay bridges over the mouth of Spruce Creek. Do a U-turn and park
roadside on the southeast side of the southernmost bridge

Please email me if you have any other questions. I live on the east
coast just over an hour south of Daytona.

(And I also agree about Disney :-)
