Tom,
The BCU Canoe & Kayak Handbook is an excellent source for information on
the skills tht are taught in the star programs. Perhaps none bettter.

You can also find a very great deal of information in the Expert Center
pages of the Atlantic Kayak Tours website. Go to
http://www.atlantickayaktours.com/ and click on the "Expert Center" tab at
the left side of the page.

The actual BCU star program syllabi are offered in pdf format at:
http://www.atlantickayaktours.com/Pages/Literature/BCU-Literature.shtml
