The cheapest ones: Pushups, pullups and situps. Ya don't even have to leave 
your bedroom. If you do, I find jogging helpful in maintaining stamina, though 
the exercise itself is not specific to paddling. If you belong to a health 
club that has a pool, plain ol' swimming is a great form of conditioning. Hope 
your ice melts soon.
